Evernote looks to be the sort of capture software I’ve been looking for my whole life. Cross platform desktop and mobile clients, all synced to a web service. I want it badly, but it’s invitation only right now. Grrr….

YouTube Rickrolls the World - I generally hate April Fool’s Day because it makes it impossible to read tech news for 12 - 24 hours. However, this is the best prank I’ve ever seen…
Windows XP: Going, going … gone? - The most thorough article I’ve seen yet regarding Windows XP’s support future. If anything, the article reafirms my decision to stick with XP at Key for as long as possible. Hopefully, I can bypass Vista altogether…
The 10 safest states for kids - So let me get this straight, Maryland is the 9th safest state for kids because it requires carbon monoxide detectors, despite the fact that its violent crime rate is 50% above the national average? Ummm…..
Mad Men on AMC. Set in 1960, it’s about ad men in NYC and the way life was for their set in 1960. It’s fascinating. The stories are generally throw-away (with some exceptions); this show is all about the period. It makes me want to wear a nice suit 5 days a week, have a wet bar in my office, and take long smoke-filled lunches at fantastic restaurants where the liquor flows freely. What’s amazing is that both the men and the women are trapped in these prisons they make for themselves, and they’re all miserable. Watch it if you get a chance. Thursdays @ 10pm.
Apparently, Anthony Bourdain once described Sandra Lee as “Betty Crocker after a weekend of huffing crack.” I think I just made a new friend…
The Great Iraq Swindle - This is what I always suspected had been going on with my money in Iraq, but to see it written out makes me want to vomit.
Social Engineering, the USB way - Wow, this is eye opening. I use to think that companies like this were a little unnecessary outside of secure facilities, but no longer.
Jamiroquai - Runaway (video) - This song is like a little piece of heaven. In fact almost all post-acid-jazz Jamiroquai is a high-guilt extreme-pleasure experience.
Apparently, I now live in Hong Kong. Cool.
