Some random thoughts to round out your week…
- I’ve known about Object Desktop for quite some time (hey, I used to use it on OS/2!), but I had no idea about Hoverdesk. Let’s just say, I’ve finally made my Windows desktop pretty and productive, all at the same time!
- I picked up Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast this afternoon, but I can’t play it until tonight. ARGH!
- Who would even think of doing something like this? Well, I guess someone did, obviously…
- If I go see LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring again tonight, just to see the special 4 minute preview of LOTR: The Two Towers, it will be my eighth time seeing it in the theatres (but fortunatly, only my first time paying non-matinee prices).
- After having to just cut and paste "eighth" and "matinee" into Word to spell check them, I just realized how convenient (if not necessary) it would be to write a spell-checker into my weblog. Even more so now that I just had to do the same thing with "convenient".
- And finally, yet another Dilbert comic from my day-by-day calendar. This one pretty much describes the process I deal with every day at my job.
I wonder how many of these Dilbert comics I can scan and post before I get a cease-and-desist letter from Scott Adams…
